Baker Textiles Inc. is one of the leading woven textile wholesale distributors in Canada, and have been in business for over 50 years. We occupy an entire building totaling 130,000 square feet and employ about 50 people. Located at 1812 Onesime-Gagmon, Lachine, Quebec near main highways and the port for easy access by truck and boat. On our premises we store and process our inventory to ship to customers around the globe. We also supplement our storage and processing capacity by employing outside warehousing in Canada and the Southern United States. Our product line consists of basic cotton, polyester/cotton and man made fibers for woven textiles such as : Indigo Denims, Bull Denims, Cotton twills, workwear twills and poplins, Canvases, sheetings, muslin, pocketing, broadcloths, taslin Nylon, fire retardent workwear, flannels and corduroy. These items are available either in the loom state (greige) or dyed in the entire colour spectrum with finishes such as mercerization, sanforization and shrinkage control to 2% to 3% residual. We merchandise first quality goods, seconds, pound goods ( rolled or flat) in various packs and leader cloth. With our traffic control and warehouse distribution system we are presently exporting and importing on a global scale.
